Full Lineup Announced for PFL World Tournament Finals in Atlantic City

Professional Fighters League has filled out the card surrounding its two championship bouts in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The league on Tuesday announced the full lineup for PFL World Tournament 8, which features a welterweight final clash between Thad Jean and Logan Storley and a featherweight title tilt pitting Jesus Pinedo against Movlid Khaybulaev. The rest of the four-bout main draw will include a featherweight showcase bout between Asael Adjoudj and Yves Landu as well as a middleweight matchup between Jordan Newman and Eslam Abdul Baset Syaha.

PFL World Tournament 8 takes place on Aug. 1 at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The evening’s main card airs in ESPN and ESPN+ at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, while the prelims will air on ESPN+ beginning at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.

Jean lived up to his billing as a prospect to watch with tournament triumphs over Mukhamed Berkhamov and ex-Bellator champ Jason Jackson to run his professional mark to 10-0. Storley, meanwhile, outpointed Joseph Luciano and Masayuki Kikuiri to punch his ticket to the 170-pound final.

Pinedo, a 2023 PFL champion, scored first-round finishes of Adam Borics and Gabriel Braga to advance to the featherweight championship. Khaybulaev, who is unbeaten 25 professional outings, continued that run with triumphs over Jeremy Kennedy and Tae Kyun Kim in the 145-pound bracket.
